Come to Lutherlyn and enjoy delicious food, handmade gifts, locally sourced beverages, and homemade pies! Our Harvest Feast with Quilt and Pie Auction will give you the opportunity to purchase unique gifts for the upcoming Christmas season and fill you up with harvest-themed cuisine.

All proceeds from the auction and Harvest Feast will support the Lutherlyn Campership Fund which provides opportunities for children to attend our summer camp programs.

You may attend either or both of the events. Visit the Harvest Feast webpage for details.

Enjoy a weekend display of quilts and quilting in the autumn splendor at Lutherlyn. This show is a non-judged exhibit of the art of quilting.

Enter the show at the Dining Hall where there is a beautiful display of small quilts and other works of art. The Dining Hall also houses the flea market, make-it-take-it projects, the two quilts that will be raffled, a Chinese auction, and a dream basket raffle. Our main exhibit hall is Rice Hall where there is a beautiful display of large quilts, all created by local quilters.

There is a merchant mall for you to shop and some quilts are for sale. A complete list and prices will be in the entries section of the program booklet.

Admission is only $5.00 for the show, no registration is required. All proceeds benefit the Lutherlyn Campership Fund.

Unfortunately we are going to need to cancel our Mini Trial event scheduled for September 13. Our indoor arena construction has conflicted with the event. We look forward to hosting again next year. We will have a beautiful 85 x 150 gable style building from Clearspan to host our dressage in. The addition of this building is a great addition to our programming. Please be sure to follow our progress. We thank you all for your support of our programs and look forward to next year.

Lutherlyn is raising money to construct an indoor riding arena to expand the availability and reach of our Equestrian Program. This Clear Span construction building will be located within the stables program area near the barn. Building this arena is an important stride in making the Equestrian Program a year-round operation.

Our arena will be 8,500 square feet. In order to track our progress, we will be counting how many square feet have been donated. Each square foot needs only a $13 donation. For example, you can donate 4 square feet through your donation of $50 or 38 square feet for $500.

We have received a total of $73,346 (5,642 square feet) so far! That means we are only $36,654 away from our $110,000 goal. Please make a donation today and sponsor your squares today!

Thanks to a grant from Lutheran World Relief, Lutherlyn campers were able to helpconstruct quilts that will be sent to people living in poverty around the globe. This is the second year we have been able to participate in this program. Our Woodland Quilters worked with campers each Tuesday to piece together and tie quilts. In the end, we were able to complete 21 quilts! Thank you to our Woodland Quilters and the campers who helped with this project.

Take up a hobby this fall by signing up for a class at the Woodland Center for Arts & Crafts. Pottery, blacksmith, and a variety of fiber arts classes are scheduled and open for registration.

This year, Lutherlyn partnered with Now Is The Time For Missions to purchase stoves and floors for families living in poverty in Guatemala.
The cost of providing a stove is $129 each. The cost of providing a floor for a home is $175 each. At Wednesday night worship, campers had the option of donating towards the project from their store account. Donations were also received at the camp store during pick-up and drop-off times as well as online. Thanks to our generous campers and parents we have been able to raise over $8,000. That is the equivalent of over 62 stoves!

Our Early Bird Registration Special is available until midnight tonight! Take advantage of $25 off by registering for summer camp now.

The moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived! We plan to have an indoor riding arena for fall of 2015!!! It has been a dream of for the Stables program for a long time and we really need your help to make this dream come true. Your donation will make a difference in the lives of our campers, students and horses! Your efforts will help us continue to reach out and share the magical world of horses with more people. We are so excited for the impact it will bring to our programming. Please share with everyone you know, and encourage your friends to donate in this grassroots effort to fund this building. We have $30,000 that has already been donated to the project -- help our students ride through the seasons!! Every little bit helps!!!
