Food Service and Receptions

The dining hall is a central and very important place at camp. It is equipped to meet the needs of groups and events of varying sizes and specifications. Meals are typically served in an all-you-can-eat buffet style. During the summer, campers sit with their fellow cabin groups and eat meals prepared by our experienced Food Service Director and Staff.
Meals are well-balanced and nutritious. Each meal is prepared with a vegetarian option in addition to a salad bar for lunches and dinners.
We strive to meet the needs of all dietary restrictions. If a member of your group has specific needs, our Food Service Director would be happy to talk to you. Call Chef Jenn at 724-865-0025, and she will do her best to accommodate you.
Servesafe® Class and Certification- Lutherlyn offers the ServSafe® course and certification exam led by a certified ServSafe® instructor/proctor. Courses offered are ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Course and ServSafe® Food Handler.
Summer Program Food Service- Lutherlyn serves all summer camp participants with delicious and nutritious meals.
Special Diets- Our Food Service staff is prepared to meet the needs of all guests. All major food allergen alternatives are served regularly.
Receptions and Banquets- Consider hosting your event here at Lutherlyn. Our Chef will meet with you to plan your customized menu and service needs.
Rental and Retreats Food Service- Each rental and retreat group enjoys a variety of delicious options. See what could be on your menu at your next visit!
